At The Villa

The Aquila Villa is built along the cliffside, which employs a unique design where guests must descend into the villa to access its most notable features. The cliffside construction ensures that guests can experience epic sea and sunset views from as many parts of the villa as possible.

Step into the lift that takes guests to different levels of the villa, starting from the lounge area at the uppermost level that leads to the magnificent master’s bedroom. The library, conference room, spa and gym are located in the second uppermost level, as are three of the seven bedrooms in the main villa.

On the main level are the rest of the main villa’s bedrooms, as well as the poolside features and access to the extension of the villa. A staircase from this level then leads guests to the entertainment and cinema rooms of the villa, not to mention the gardens, the second swimming pool on the property and an extensive terrace.

Rooms

The villa’s 12 bedrooms are divided between the main villa and an extension villa that’s only available for bookings of 9 or more bedrooms. All bedrooms have ocean views, with garden views available in the main-level bedrooms of the main villa.

The master bedroom is located in one of the uppermost levels of the villa, and can be accessed via elevator from the entrance and lower levels. The bedroom comes with its own living area as well as an ocean-fronting balcony, serving as a private oasis for those who like to combine business with pleasure.

The seven guest bedrooms of the main villa are spread between two lower levels, giving guests a chance to experience amazing views round the clock. Two of the seven bedrooms are configured with a pair of double beds in each room, ensuring comfort and privacy for guests who want to sleep separately.

At the extension villa, a large family room is divided into two rooms with one king bed each and a shared bathroom. The room is especially ideal for families and friends who don’t want to spend time apart, especially since the rooms share other features such as TVs, an outdoor swing, and a balcony that wraps around one of the two guest bedrooms.

Both the main and extension villa have their own separate living areas, featuring cliffside and ocean views. The main villa’s living area has a view of the sea and swimming pool and an 80-inch flatscreen TV, while the extension’s living room has access to a kitchen-slash-bar area with seating for 4.

Facilities

The Aquila Villa comes with not one but two infinity pools located at the main and lower levels of the property. The main-level pool can be accessed from the main villa’s living area, with a near-edgeless view of the sea and sunset and outdoor areas for lounging and dining. The lower-level pool has a sunken sala for enjoying the sunset views as well as a wet bar and outdoor shower.

On the same lower level as the pool and the villa’s own open-air gardens is the entertainment center of the villa, featuring the private cinema room and a separate game room. These two rooms provide different kinds of entertainment for guests who crave variety.

The cinema room comes with four recliner chairs and an L-shaped sofa in front, the better to enjoy movies and shows on the 180-inch screen projector. A JBL sound system gives viewers the surround-sound effect to further enjoy the cinematic action on-screen.

While the cinema room is family-friendly, the game room is more suited for grown-up pursuits. The billiards table in the room is always ready for those who want to take up a game or two, and the wine cellar can be stocked with guests’ spirits of choice for an extra charge. Two flat-screen TVs also give guests further entertainment options.

Meanwhile, the wellness center of the villa is located one floor up from the main level, where the spa and fitness room can be found. The well-equipped fitness room comes with cardio and strength-training equipment for those who like to work up a sweat, while the massage tables at the spa can be used for stress-relieving spa treatments.

On the same level as the spa and gym are the library and conference rooms, which give workouts of a different kind. The library has a wide selection of books for guests to enjoy on their downtime, while the conference room has enough seating for 12, perfect for those crucial large-group meetings.

For gatherings, the indoor dining area at the main level has both a long dining table that can seat 12 for formal dinners and a smaller round table for more casual sit-downs. Both of these areas have a view of the pool and the ocean, the better to enjoy the culinary creations of the villa’s own private chef.

Services

The Aquila Villa has a qualified 10-member staff that’s dedicated to making guests as comfortable as possible during their stay. This includes the villa’s own manager and private chef, who are more than willing to cater to every guest’s needs.

The villa comes with its own complimentary Continental or Asian breakfast, prepared thoughtfully by the villa’s own chef and staff. The chef is capable of creating meals in many culinary genres, and can also work with guests’ food preferences.

Housekeeping and turndown service are carried out daily at the villa by the in-villa staff, making sure that every room is as tidy as possible. Meanwhile, the estate’s own security team works round the clock to ensure safety throughout the property. Roundtrip airport transfers are also complimentary with advanced arrangement.

Services with additional charges include private transportation, in-house massage, laundry service, and a premium wine and spirits menu for stocking up on beverages prior to arrival. All of these can also be arranged in advance with the villa’s own Guest Experience concierge services, who can take care of requests prior to the guests’ arrival in Phuket.

The villa is also a short drive away from Jungceylon shopping center in nearby Patong, where guests can purchase popular high street brands.
